As most of you know, I'm turning 21 this yr -_____-
And so.. I'm having a party and ALL OF YOU ARE INVITED!

The details of the party is on the card above. You can start coming ard 730pm as the cake cutting is ard 830pm. Dinner will be served. So come with an empty stomach =)

Below is the map to the chalet (YCC). You can take bus no 29 from Tampines interchange and alight at the second busstop after the bus enters Netheravon Rd. The bus stop is located near the chalet. And the bus stop code is B06, for ur reference. Hehe. Just give me a call if u need any assistance.

Sleepover is much welcomed, I have 4 bedrooms so I can put aside a room specially for the Dees =)

was just thinking. standard chartered singapore is holding the singapore marathon or something. why don we participate in it as well. the event is in december so there isnt much clashes with anything i guess. if nobody is interested in running the event. they need volunteers too. jiahui should noe i think. we can join as a group instead of manymany individuals. Hello! For those of you who went to t-junction, thank you once again for coming and making this event possible! For those of you who cannot make it, its ok. You can always come the next time you're free. I understand that the timing cannot cater to all as some of you are working and some got cca in school. For those who came,i'm sure we had lots of fun right? Celebrating Alicia nand Abby's belated birthday, playing with pool, ping pong, watching movies and going to Mustafa to shop!

Well, fret not, i'm planning another gathering for the Dees at t-junction again! :) Yippee! Haha.. Excited? This time round, it'll be a BBQ. It'll be held the whole day. As in one shift in the afternoon, and another shift in the evening to cater to both working and non working ppl and for those of you who cannnot hang out late or stayover at t junction. Same thing, you girls are free to stayover after the BBQ. For more details on this gathering, stay tune to this blog! As for now, its picture time! Hey loves! (:

Firstly, I passed SHAI her D-Class jacket today and chatted with her for a while. For those who didn't know. Elsa came up with the idea of getting Shai our class jacket as she is leaving. So i called up the supplier who did our jacket and managed to get one more for her. Thus, D02 shared the cost of the jacket on behalf of D-Clan.

Anyway, Shai will be travelling to and fro for the next few months. So you all can check her blog or facebook to check where she is heading or where she is now. She will be posting up pictures of her plus D-Class jacket on our blog, soon i hope :D Before i forget, Shai sprained her wrist when she was over at Indonesia. So let's all hope and pray that she recovers soon (:

In exchange for the jacket, i got a bagful of chocolates and cookies from LONDON. (Don't drip saliva on the computer for thos who missed out on this) So i brought the bag over to T-junction for those who were there. It was shared during the Stardust movie session.

After the movie, we headed out for dinner and shopping at Mustafa. This part cannot be explained or recounted. It has to be with pictures. (BIG HINT: I want pictures ASAP :D)

Anyway, THANKS to Yiwen for inviting us over to T-junction and Margaret for being there or else we cannot even get in. Oh and not to forget the wonderful recommendation of having Nan for dinner (:
And to all those who went: I enjoyed myself so much that my sides ached from laughing.

Yiwen is thinking of hosting another gathering at T-junction. This time, its a BBQ. So to cater to all the working people and those with curfews, the BBQ will be held the whole day. Dates are not confirmed yet. But please vote when i get zizah to get the poll thingy up. Those who have seen the poll thingy up already, please try and get your friends or clique to vote so that more people can Turn up and HAVE FUN! (: We will wait for yiwen to confirm and zizah to help us get the poll thingy done. Please read the D-Class blog frequently to be updated!

The D-Class jacket was order from this uncle who i only call UNCLE. His number is 81331095. You can call him to ask about details. His factory or office is at Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park. Im not very sure of the exact location. After confirming your design and colours, give him a call and he will give you a rough quote. He will then confirm the price again when you pass him the design in person. Oh and you will have to pay a deposit when confirming your order. Then after everything is settled, just wait for his call or you can rush him for your jackets. You will have to arrange with him on how to collect it. Hopefully this is of help (:

Playing at t-junction

Hi gals! This is yiwen here. Ok, i'm sure all of you are glad and happy that our exams are ALL OVER already right? Haha.. Hi-5! Me too! Have you girls thought of what to do during holidays besides going out on dates with your girlfriends, boyfreinds, friends frm pri or sec sch, families etc.. The normal typical and usual outings you have.. If you girls haven thought of a good idea yet, well, i have! Listen to my idea k! :)

i know this youth building place called t-junction. It is located near Farrer Park Mrt Station. For your infomation, you can get to Farrer Park Mrt Station by travelling to Dhoby Ghaut, then transfering to the purple line, (NEL line). First stop will be Little India, second stop will be Farrer Park already! i'm not sure what bus will reach t-junction though. Sorry about that.

Ok, this is a very COOL and FUN place! Let me tell you all why is it so! Firstly, this whole place is air conditioned. Secondly, it is wireless, so that means all of you can bring your laptops here to surf the net! Thirdly, it has a hall which has drums, keyboards, guitars and mic for us to jam, sing, play and have our own mini concert! This building has 4 storeys and the top storey is open air. Which means, we can have bbq there! This place also have stuffs like, XBOX, PING PONG TABLE, BILLARD, BOARD GAMES, KITCHEN, TOILETS WITH HEATER, TOASTER, FRIDGE WITH CAN DRINKS, POTATO CHIPS, CUP NOODLES, COMPUTERS, TV ETC... And the list goes on.. This building is also located near Mustafa. Walking distance about 30 mins. Which means, we can go there and shop at night. It is also located near a huge hawker center so we can go there have dinner at night. If not, we can always cook the cup noodles inside the building or have bbq.

I suggested this idea because in this way, all of us, D Clans, can have fun together. We can play, eat and sleep together! We are allowed to camp there overnight! If we camp there overnight, we only need to pay $2 each for the electricity bills and water bills. Cheap right? Where will you get such a good deal?! Haha.. I've came up with 10 ideas of what we can do there.

1.) We can meet in afternoon after lunch at Farrer Park Mrt Station.

2.) We can watch movies in t-junction. Movie Marathon!!! (They have projectors there! Big screen! Like movie theatre!)

3.) After watching movies, we can play the board games there. (There are lots of unique board games there)

4.) We can also jam there! ( Drums, guitars, keyboards there)

5.) T-junction is also near a club. We can go there and play bowling at night!

6.) 30 mins walking distance from Mustafa, which means shopping!

7.) Open air space at level 4, BBQ!!!

8.) Open grass field outside Farrer Park Mrt Station, we can play ball games like net ball or captain's ball! ( For sport lovers)

9.) XBOX to play with! ( For gamers)

10.) Friends from the 2 D classes to play with and stayover sleep together! In a building, save from baddies guys and mosquitos! (For everyone)

PLUS, STAYING UP HERE WILL ONLY COST YOU $2!!! CHEAPER THAN ANY CAMPS! HAHA!

I can get the place booked so that only our D Clan class will be there playing and having fun. But, i got to book like few days earlier with my friend, Margaret. She's the one who is in charge of the building. We need her to unlock the building. So, therefore, i need to ask who is interested and know the number of people who is going and when can you gals make it so that i can inform my friend, Margaret. i would suggest next thursday or friday. Saturday cannot because the building will be in use. We need to have this outing cum mini camp next week because our malay frens are going to fast soon! So we either stayover on thursday or friday. So its either 28th Aug or 29 Aug. i need your replies as soon as possible, latest by tue afternoon so that i can tell my friend. Please ask around your gang in respectively class D01 & D02 and send a rep to sms me or email me can?

Trust me, all of us are gonna have lots of fun! Alicia, Jia Hui, Elsa, Abby, Juian, Shu Yu, Romei, Joyce (D02) , Zhi Yi and Alina have gone to the place before and they had fun! You can ask them if you dont believe! Haha.. (Alina, we can play hide n seek there!)

Finally, the dees managed to go to Shai's house today! Shai's house was really WOW! BIG! With a lift inside! How cool can it be man you tell me! Haha..

Muhahaaha.. i enjoyed myself very much at Shai's house! i'm sure all the 2D02 peeps who went there enjoyed themselves too right? Haha.. Shai, your house rocks man! Thanks for all the pizza, donuts and drinks! Alina and i actually wanted to play hide and seek at Shai's house one but there was just SO MANY things to keep us occupied with! Books, clothes, pens, pencils, files, card games, nice scenery, delicious food and fun company from everyone! Alina, let's play on 18th Aug okay! Haha..

Of course, not forgetting our main character, Shai! She told us lots of interesting stories! Haha.. So cool to have a teacher like her right? As usual, we need to take lots of picture to remember today! Haha.. Many many pretty poses! All of us left after sunset, with big bags of stuffs! Happy! Contented! Yippeeeee...

Please ignore previous post. New updates regarding Shai's house visit!

2D02 will be going over after school this Friday evening, most prolly. This is cause Alina Tan bumped into Shaireen the other day and she invited us over this Friday. And Alina said (if i remembered correctly lol) that we'll be able to make it after AW consultation. She did consider D01s well being too. So here goes..

Since you guys don't have any classes on after 1 (I believe), Shai said to have two different timings for us to come over rather than have all 40 kiddos approx squeeze into one house. Therefore, one suggestion would be to have the D01s go over first after your AW consultations. D02s will come over later in the evening.

DO TRY TO MAKE IT CAUSE SHAI'S LEAVING FOR LONDON END OF THE MONTH! :(

SO WHAT SAY YOU? Can someone from D01 kindly do the honours? Lol.

First and foremost, JUIAN'S GONNA GRADUATE TOGETHER WITH US. (:

Secondly, the votes have been made, the results have been collated and the verdict is final. We're settling for Design #2. (the one with the alien placed right smack centre of the hoodie)

In terms of the colour combo, the colour of the hoodie (pullover) will be made universal; black. As for the outlining of the mascot and the wordings, it will be a combination of gold and white. Below is a rough idea of how the design will look like coloured.

Have your say in the tagboard. (: Hopefully we can all be agreeable to the final product. Please keep praying that everything will turn out perfect. (: And if nothing gets in the way, we'll all be able to get our pullovers when school reopens! (or maybe a week after that) :D

A side note: We're really sorry if you can't get your preferred design. :( But ultimately, it is the class unity and class spirit that matters. (:

CLASS PULL-OVERS!

Hey all!

This is about the class pull-overs.

Alicia, Sally, Joanna and Sarah will be coming up with designs for the class pull-overs.
When they are done, we will then vote for the design to be printed on the class pull-over.
(If anyone thinks that they can do a better job at designing, please also start drawing and send it to my email.)
Try to give me all the designs by lastest 30th May.

The price of the pull-over is estimated around 22 bucks.
I know that 2D02 have all agreed to get the pull-overs but i need to know the response from 2D01.
Juian and I will be going down to talk to the supplier after we have fixed on the design. So we need a rough estimate of the number of pull-overs to order then can we give the exact price to pay.

I hope to get all these done by the two weeks break so that we can all get our pull-overs after the break.

I'm helping a friend of mine recruit Bay Ambassadors for this year's National Day Parade. (: The thing you'll have to do as Bay Ambassadors is basically USHERING the people viewing the parade ah. Maybe some of you might have done it before? MAYBE? I not sure? Lol. Anyways. Below is the training schedule for the Bay Ambassadors:

The FIRST THREE SESSIONS will be held in Ngee Ann Polytechnic itself. (:
Basic information for this recruitment thing..err.

1. CCA points will be awarded for effort put in as a Bay Amb! (:
2. You CANNOT be absent for more than two training sessions.
3. Attendance for all shows, previews and actual parade is COMPULSORY.
4. You need to be a SINGAPOREAN or hold PR Citizenship.
5. And finally, you will also need to go through a simple interview to pass as a Bay Amb.

Once through all the requirements mentioned, training starts and VOILA!! (: Come on people! THINK OF THE UNIFORMED MEN. :DDD

Okay..and also the experience you'll gain and the new friends you'll make! (:

HMS FOC 2008 was a romping success. 3 cheers to all the Dees who sacrificed the last of their holidays for this camp! Rezeki, Zhi Yi, Jia Hui, Abby, Elsa, Yi Wen, Alina, Pahm, Sarah, Zizi, Wani, Pei Hung, Joyce and Juian! Yeah I was at the camp, it was awesome. The freshmen were so hyped up and enthusiastic, this year's FOC was so much better than last year's. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves at camp. New friendships were forged, and I bet we all learnt a little bit more about each other. =D It's really amazing to see how insane we all can be, psychoing the freshmen and going high and crazy shouting cheers and running amuck all over school, Town and Sentosa. All these were done in the name of FUN! Again, again! Let's do it again! =DDD

Now I'm having PCB. Post Camp Blues. =( Disgusting I tell you. Okay. WHO'S LOOKING FORWARD TO SCHOOL TOMORROW?! I'm only looking forward to it 'cos I can see everyone again, teehee.

Its Been some time since somebody blogged here man! And.. To tell you guys something, im seriously missing the class!

ANYWAY, the class time-table is out and im glad to say that both classes would be seeing each other in class again!

Reading juain's post reminds me of the email about the guy who was killed in the army.
And they found on him the piece of paper tht contains everything that his classmates wrote about him.
It quite a touching story. I guess most of you would have read the email before by now.
I just want to say that don't leave things to the last minute. If you have something to tell your loved ones, your friends. Don't hestitate. You never know what comes next.
This comes from a personal experience. Yeah. So start telling your friends you are really glad to have them by your side everyday =P

HELLO!

After reading WEIQI's post, i felt so much like laughing! I was trying to link her wanting to go for the party to how colourful our dear classmates are. I'm still trying very hard to picture that...

BUT STILL.

I do agree that they are really great people! Infact, i would like to say that each and everyone in the DEES are really nice and i'm so blessed to be in this class. You know, christmas is about telling someone how much you appreciate them!

SO,

For those going for the party, please think of something good for everyone in class. Because, we are going to give everyone a paper so that EVERYONE of us will go home with a paper full of memories. Life is unpredictable. Maybe this would be the first and LAST gathering? I really hope it wouldnt be but as much as i pray, things happen all the time. (like if i really have to go for NS)

Hullo world!

I just felt like I had to type up a post here, for the heck of it. Time really does fly by, doesn't it? We've known each other for almost a year. It only seemed like yesterday that we had our first day of school at NP. HAHA. Yes, super random, whatev. Anyway, everyone, don't kill yourselves over the projects. They aren't worth your lives. Besides, I'm sure everyone's pacing themselves. So no worries, everyone will get wonderful grades for the projects. We can do it. =) So remember to take a breather every once in awhile, and try not to lose yourself in madness due to the looming project deadlines.

For this assignment, you should also be doing a GROUP REPORT! Refer to your assignment descriptor for more information.

hello girls,

with regards to the gathering, we have come up with some ideas..

date will be 28th Dec (Friday) & we are planning to start at 5pm so meeting time will be of course be earlier.

as for food & refreshments, instead of bbq, we can get it from wani's aunt who is working in a catering business. so wani can help us to settle the food. according to wani, we can choose from finger food, party food & dinner food. the cost is as cheap as $3.50 per person depending on our selection of food.

in addition, we will be having gift exchange =) the budget for each gift will be below $5 or $10, depending on your own budget. NO PRESSURE ;) or you can also handmake, which i personally feel its better.. :D

oh yes, the venue will be joyce's (DO2) condo. we have to let her know in advance so she is able to book the facilities for us to use.

as such, now its the impt part..

WE NEED TO CONFIRM THE NUM OF PPL GOING. latest by this week.

so we can make arrangements & plan further.. :D this is our first & ever gathering. WHOOHOO so COOL! i truly hope that all of us will be there to partie together!

as you have read in the previous tags, the 12 course dinner at raffles town club is NOT HALAL.

as such, we would have to plan for our gathering...

i have some suggestions:

we could reserve a big table for all of us and have dinner together at a restaurant like swensens or secret receipe or any other restaurants (HALAL) according to the class's budget.

OR

each of us could contribute some cash & buy the food. then we will PARTIE at some place. potluck will be good too but halal food k.. :D

then we could invite some of lecturers too.. namely juliana, corina & more..

HELLO my dearest Class!

Its already the 7th week of school! Time just flies really quite right?! Oh well! Its already almost the end of the year and before we know it, i think we will already be GRADUATING! HAHAH!

Anyway, I was told to inform the D class about this:

Event: Christmas FEAST
Location: Raffles town/country club. (either one of them)
Date: 19 Dec 2007
Time: Dinner, so about 6pm?
Cost: 12TWELVE COURSE dinner for ONLY $15!
More: A live band will also be playing soothing music as we groove to the songs and have our very own meals. A bus will be catered to send us there too. (but i havent found out from where).

If you guys are interested, DO tell me ok? It'll be good if we can go as a class. IF NOT, we'll just hold our own party out in the woods! AHAHHAH!
